Hi everyone, after adjusting my duplex settings i’m still having issues with getting dorico to print on one side. Has anyone found any success?

I also had problems with my HP printer and duplexing. I assessed it by experimenting with different driver versions until I found one that worked.
I recently updated the driver for my HP Color LaserJet Pro to the Universal PCL driver v7.3.0, and I noticed that duplex printing in Dorico is no longer working. Today I updated to v7.4.0, which just came out a few days ago, and it is still not working.
If I choose “Both sides automatically”, which used to work fine (and which works in other applications), Dorico prints everything single-sided. If I choose “Both sides manually”, Dorico prints single-sided and then prompts me to turn over the pa…

Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately this did not solve the problem.
Are you on a Mac? Maybe this will help.
The fix is to make sure that your printer’s built-in default is to print single-sided, and then set duplex in Print menus when you need it.
You may need to do this via your printer’s control panel, if it has one, or a web front-end interface. You can usually access this from System Settings > Printers.

2020 Macbook Pro. I downloaded a new driver and turned off duplex printing. “My printer will no longer accept any printing on both sides” until i go back back and check that box again. Thank you!
