Dorico+NP4 question

this isn’t in the same vein as all the other NP4 questions.

I’d like to have a “secco” cymbal crash, using NP4 (the sounds, not NPPE.)

Is there any way to have Dorico trigger this? A very loud crash that immediately cuts off? (ie: no long reverb/fading away of the sound)

Until we are able to automate changes to the faders in Dorico’s mixer, I don’t think it is possible to achieve a “secco” cymbal crash using the sounds in NP4. But look at this thread for a possible workaround using HSO.
