Thank you very much. The idea of using Lock duration never occured to me - in fact I didn’t have a clue what it was there for. It’s saved me a lot of time already.

These are entries to put into the JSON file that contains key commands for Dorico. If you’re not comfortable with that, then it may not be something you want to mess with.
I’ve programmed Keyboard Maestro macros for my most common tuplets. Very quick and no messing around with the JSON files.
Back again with a new problem. I have to write the instrument names (clarinet and organ) in German (Klarinette in B and Orgel). The organ is no problem butI can’t get rid of the B flat in the english name. Can I hide only the clarinet name (I have only been able to hide both names not just one and that creates space problems i.e. not enough space to type in the names with the text tool. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
