Hi,
although i have Vst connect Pro for few years , i tried it only recently with performer.
i have the latest PRO ver, and have some questions.
1: Big workflow issue I’m having, is when downloading the HD files its making a mess.
for example i tracked only one mic input from the performer, and i recorded 2 tracks in total from the same mic to cubase.
we recorded on each track several takes , and then i made some fast comping, fading, and so on on the Low res files.
when i downloaded the HD files for my surprise all files where imported to one track and not on 2 tracks like we recorded, so it made a mess and i had to start finding the right files for the right tracks and rearrange them, and its not so cool to say the least.
i just cant imagine the mess if recording 6 different tracks from same input ? its gonna be a nightmare to put the files to separate tracks like they where originally recorded to !
any thought or workaround for this for now ?! its a major bump !
2: when connecting to online friend, it connects automatically , there should be no a confirmation from the other side (performer or studio) to allow the connection ? its kind of privacy thing
3: not a big one, but i thing it could be nice to have VC on a “global trans project track”, so when connected to a friend, even when changing projects they stay connected, at least the talk back and video
