Having the same thoughts/issues , i see i even replied to this post while ago.
just posted the same thing few days ago
so basically “get HD” files doesn’t work nicely with overdubs from same input source ! hope SB will put some more efforts to update and improve VC pro.
maybe even recording HD files directly to cubase(studio) if connection speed allows it
