Deja vu - and if it’s anything like the last Mavericks update, then I very much doubt it. Personally, if you need your Cubase, then don’t update to Sierra just yet. I waited months last time round before an update appeared from Steinberg - meaning that many users were unable to update their OS - sooo annoying. Fingers crossed it won’t be the same this time round.
