[Hi All

I’m using Dorico 2.1. On the piano staff is it possible to have the top stave playing louder than the bottom (and vice versa). If I have a passage marked p on the bottom and mf on they top the both play at the same level. Is this to do with them both being on the same midi channel?

I can imaging a workround using two piano staffs.

You could try assigning the dynamics to individual voices, e.g. by entering them into the popover using Alt+Return to confirm instead of just Return.

Alt-Return solves so many problems. It’s basically the MacGyver of Dorico.
