Edited audio files are deleted when using Melodyne

Repro

  1. Create project

  2. record audio track

  3. edit with melodyne

  4. set “make extension permanent”

  5. media/delete unused media/empty trash

Result edited audio files are deleted

Actually the file created with “make extension permanent” will not be stored in the audio folder but in the edit folder and this folder is deleted when using delete unused media function, but the original unedited audio is still in the audio folder of the project so there is still a way to recover it and edit again if needed

Do a save before executing 5. and everything is fine.

This is no way how a software should work. By all means - this behaviour was introduced with N15.
