Using control panel I have 3 cues set up on 3 stereo outputs, my effects are heard in all cue mixes same as main out, is this changeable?
Yes, just turn them off in the cue mixes.
but that turns them off in the main mix also?
I was wandering if I could have them at diffeerent levels main and cue?

I must have my control room set up incorrectly.
My effect sends are all set to stereo out as that is my only choice other than none.

Maybe it would be helpful to get a screenshot of your MixConsole, showing some audio channels with effects and the Cue rack open and on the right side the Control Room.
Also note that Cue Sends are a separate rack from normal Sends in the MixConsole.

In other DAWS the Cue sends are sent to other outputs not to stereo out
My audio set up, what I seem to not be able to grasp is how to add different amount of reverb to the cue 1 mix on individual channels without changing main output levels.
This is what I am used to.

You don’t have to disable the CR for this. What do you have in the (right Zone) > CR > Inserts panel concerning the cue channels ?

The Control Room works independent from your actual mix. You have 3 Cue Outputs defined already (Cue B, My MixA, Drummer).
Now you use the Cue Sends to define which channel of your project is sent to which of these outputs. If you don’t want to include some of the regular FX channels, then don’t send them to the respective Cue. That won’t affect your main mix.
