Export to Cubase : EQ settings incorrect

Hello,

After importing Cubasis 3 project in Cubase pro 10.5 i noticed incorrect EQ settings on all tracks using StudioEQ.

Is this a bug?

Hi Mnoizz,

Do you have further details, or a simple Cubasis project to share, to allow us to quickly reproduce the issue?

Thanks
Lars

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem.

Since I am looking for a way to integrate my iPad into my workflow I am testing the cubasis into cubase import.
The Midi and Wave are imported but effects are missing or imported with wrong settings: The EQ’s are simply missing, the RoomWorks Effect is applied, but with totally different settings.

My setup: Cubasis LE 3 on iPad Pro (2nd gen) - Cubase LE AI Elements 12 on Windows 10 (64bit)
All were downloaded and installed two weeks ago, so they should be the latest versions.

Basically I had wanted to buy the Cubasis Full Feature Set for my iPad and did some tests to make sure the workflow to my PC would work.

Greetings
Robert

Importing Cubasis 3.5.1 projects into Cubase Pro 12 still doesn’t show correct EQ settings on all tracks using StudioEQ. like mentioned by previous users. Is this something that will be fixed? It’s hard to believe that Steinberg didn’t get this right, but Apples GarageBand export to Logic did! As well as N-Track studio!! If you made eq or other effects settings on the two mentioned apps they are exported from the iPad to the Mac and opened with the exact effects settings from the iPad project! If other daws can do it Steinberg should be able to!!

Hi @nfyw,

Thank you for your message.

Please take a look at our dedicated Cubasis Project Importer article, which hopefully helps what to expect, when importing Cubasis projects into Cubase:

Best,
Lars

Thanks for the response,

Looks like it should work, but doesn’t as others have mentioned. This feature works flawless with n-Track Studio 9!! It’s hard to believe such a large company like Steinberg doesn’t implement this feature properly.
