When a fingering appears on:
- the stem side
- of either
- the last note of a down-stemmed beam group or
- the first note of an up-stemmed beam group
- and the stem extends outside the staff lines,
…Dorico’s placement of the fingering looks crowded to my eye:
I’d prefer the finger to be more on a line with other fingerings in the beam group:
Is there an engraving option for this, so I can avoid manually fixing every such fingering? (If there is such an option, I can’t find it.)
