Problem persists for about 1 week.
CrashDumpFile readout shows CUBASE.exe as problem maker.

Can you a bit more specific? What template? Your own? Cubase’s? Always the same one or all?
What plugins are in the FX chain?
From your description I simply cannot reproduce it.
Have you tried in the same in safe mode?
doesn’t matter the template, doesn’t matter the FXs on the chain, it just always crashes when I save one (even an empty one)
Have you tried it in Safe mode with preferences disabled?
even with Safe Mode I wasn’t able to do it, but a IT-friend just helped me out big!
the solution: the folders with all the presets were set to “read only”. why ever the f. win11 does that!

A tag, not the title. The link you gave even explains how.
Cubase shouldn’t crash though if it encounters read-only folders…
it fixed it, when I changed it, so it was that unfortunately.
