Graphic Glitches in Cubase 13 on Windows

Many glitches also in my case.
Intel i5-13600KF. AMD Radeon RX 6750XT.
At the moment, I applied some settings to Adrenalin app and it seems to work.
Here is my settings:

Hope it helps!

Whatā€™s with tech companies the past 5 years releasing unfinished, underperforming, glitchy but full priced games and software.
If you know there is an issue fix it donā€™t release it ā€¦
Its shoddy work but seems to be the new way of things.

I can confirm on a couple of hours ,4 screen mean lean machine, your tip has meant no graphical glitches have come to light yet ,even in the places i had a couple . Looking good :+1: :ok_hand:

One thing i dont like is tweaking my graphic cars to appease one appā€¦ Cubase 12 i donā€™t have any problems using my AMD 6600 card i even updated the driver also all win update on 11ā€¦ i know this will get fixed but there is only a dozen of so cards out there and should have been testedā€¦ since you use consumers as beta testers. To even put in release notes KNOWN ISSUES on a major release when customers are paying is definitely a cash grabā€¦ extremely dissatisfied this is a great release if only i could useā€¦ now how long do we have to wait?

OMG mate. You saved me, mine is completely fixed now. I canā€™t believe it. Thank you so much @gwy
No Graphic Issue anymore.
Steinberg should hire you pal
My system Spec: i7 7700k - 64gb Ram - Radeon RX 6650 XT - Windows 11

I canā€™t believe this worked, thankyou!

Me too, and now itā€™s bled over to Dorico 5 (only when working with Steinberg plugs in mixer effect slots).

Windows 11
Ryzen 9 3900XT
X570
Radeon RX6600

Trying the adrenalin tweaks but not much help. Bright white boxes where there used to be information and controls.

Thanks for the update and the screenshot.

While the work-around is not complicated and does not affect other apps or the OS, we think that a program should not require user intevention for trouble-free operation and thatā€™s what we aim at.
For 13.0.20 we will provide the control panel information and a fall-back strategy, but a work-around can only be temporary, it needs to be fixed on the application side.

I forgot to mention something in my previous post: being a synchronisation issue, another thing that may help multi-monitor users is to make sure that all screens are set to the same refresh rate (both AMD and NVIDIA).

Right now, my system (Win 11) uses an old graphics card, AMD Radeon R7 250, which drives 3 screens of different sizes (4k, 1080p and 166x900). Iā€™m immune to whatever glitch is depicted in this thread. In light of the considerations made so far, are there any common elements that indicate which systems will be affected by graphic problems? Iā€™m about to change the card with a more modern AMD RX580. Do I have to worry?
Thank you!

EDIT: No Adrenaline installed, just the drivers.

Difficult to say in advance, Iā€™m afraid. I do have an RX580-based system here, but it never triggered this issue, then again neither have my Vega 10, RX570, RTX 2060S or GTX 1060. If there are hardware-software combinations that cause this, they havenā€™t been identified so far, sorry.

I can confirm after just changing the setting of the Vertical Sync to ā€œFastā€ on NVIDIA Control Panel under Cubase 13 program, all my glitches were gone. It seem to do the trick in my system.
Win 11 Pro, NVIDIA GTX 1070.

Thank you @Fabio_B

Ok, thank you. so, Iā€™ll take the risk hoping everything gets addressed soon anyway.

Hi,

Is there something to do for people like me who use the processorā€™s GPU ?

My problem is described here :

Interesting, sent you a PM.

It is time for the Cyber Week now

C13 on Windows 11 Home here and no glitches so far.

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X with Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti on 3440 x 1440 Ultra Wide Monitor.

Hope that observation helps ā€¦

Short update:

on PCs with NVIDIA, setting V-Sync to ā€œFastā€ solved the issues on all machines but one.
On that machine we had to enable Power Management to High Performance to fully resolve the issue.

On PCs with AMD cards, Anti-Lag was the only setting that was needed on our test machines.
Should this not be helpful, we recommend to also try vertical sync and refresh options.

Procedures for both cards require to create a Program/Game profile for Cubase.

If multiple screens are in use, please make sure they are all set to refresh at the same rate (60 Hz recommended, especially if the supported rates are different for the various screens).

To provide a fall-back strategy is still in evaluation, there is a risk factor and we want to be certain that the comfort of having a switchable menu entry is not rendered uselss by introducing crashes.

I can confirm this has resolved the issue from early here, why on earth mine where set on 165 hz i donā€™t know but , all 4 set at 60 seems to be stable . Nice find :+1: :ok_hand:
