HALion Sonic 7 not loading in new Dorico 4.3.20 project

Hello, all.

I’m not sure what’s happening, but since updating to HALion Sonic 7, it’s acting awkwardly with Dorico 4. With existing projects, HALion will load for playback, but when creating a new project, it won’t.

I can do note input (albeit with no sound), but I can’t do much else. I tried saving to see if reloading an existing project would help, but the program froze on me.

I’ve tried:

  • Re-installing HALion Sonic 7
  • Re-installing Dorico 4
  • Rebooting my PC

None of these things have resolved these issues. Any suggestions?
