Halions vst since e-license shutdown

Anyone else having problems with any of their VST’s since the e-licenser shutdown?

I have issues with Transverse and Amped Elektra both not being recognised, even though I’ve re-registered them again.

Although I love Steinberg products, sadly, the customer support is the UK is absolutely awful so I’ve not bothered with it, unless I have to.

I can live with uninstalling Amped Elektra but Transverse, not only have I paid for, I actually use it quite a lot.

Thanks for any advice.

What exact error message do you actually see? It is not possible to “re-register”, and the Elicenser Control Center will alert you to the fact if you attempt to use any of the online functions. Both of those titles have been migrated to the new system.-

Have you read about the changes?

In short, no elicenser transactions can be done, since the server no longer functions. If your license is on a USB dongle, it will function as long as the dongle continues to function.

Licenses have been migrated to the new system via vouchers which can be found in your Steinberg account.

You need to log into the Steinberg Activation Manager (the app on your machine)

The message says ‘no license found for…’

I have read the information about the turn off of the e-licenser although, it doesn’t make a huge amount of sense.

@Jason_Barlow have you checked in Steinberg Activation Manager (“SAM”) that you have activated them? It should look like this:

@steve Here’s another one:

Hovering over any of the presets contained HALion 3 Sound Set 5.hsb in gives this:

I posted about this some time back, with a partial solution, but Set 5 was never migrated.

Thanks, I’ll check this out. Oddly enough, when I closed Cubase down and went back into it, Transverse, at least, was working.

I’ve checked this and neither Amped Elektra or Transverse are on there. Nor are some of my other plugins from Steinberg.

It’s beginning to look a bit of a s@$t show.

Hello,
I have a problem with Amped Elektra. This plugin was originally given to me as a bonus with the purchase of Cubase (or as part of a promotional bundle).
It worked perfectly with the old eLicenser system, but after migrating to the new Steinberg Licensing / Activation Manager system, the license has disappeared.
It still appears in Steinberg Download Assistant as an associated product, but I cannot activate or use it.
Is there any way to recover or reactivate the license in the new system?
Thank you very much for your help.

Have you already checked the Vouchers section in your Steinberg account? You should have received a voucher that updates the old eLicenser-based license to the new licensing system. However, I don’t know if these vouchers are still available after the shutdown of the eLicenser servers.

I have already checked my coupons section and there is nothing there anymore.
Best regards, and thank you

Oh, that’s a shame. In this case it might be worth to contact the Steinberg support and ask if they can upgrade your license.
