I saw this but there seemed no working ie feedback resolved?
Even just be nice to have the legacy working and use dummy midi client just to use as a display?
Hi,
You can swtich BCF2000 to the Mackie Control mode. Yes, there is Mackie Control compatible MIDI Remote script.
Yes, I have been using legacy for a couple of decades with some extra help from Bome
Where would I find the script?
Hi,
We are using the shared-midi-remote optional tag, where you can see all the MIDI Remote scripts made by the users.
I use gesturing eg long holds, double clicks etc so Ill have to use an existing actual midi remote BCF2000 and add teh extra buttons vs a script. The ones I have seen so far arent MCU emulations?..but Im still looking
As mentioned, I just need some simple editing to make it work but they are all scripts not remote editable so of no use to me unfortunately I tried them and a couple of others
Hi,
You can edit them freely in the Mappging Assistant.
Or you can create your own simple mapping.
The edit pen is missing?
When you import scripts that have been coded…I thought I read somewhere that they are no longer editable?
Hi,
- Open the MIDI Remote in the Lower Zone.
- Select the Remote Device from the list.
- In the upper part > Mapping Page, click on the Open Mapping Assistant (instrument icon).
Does it work? Could you attach a screenshot?
Here is the script Im working on atm
As you can see up in the top LH corner, there is an edit pen
Now I import the controller etc and select the midi controller ie from a script not an editor source, the edit pen is missing
I was sure I read that only midi remote generated scripts can be graphically edited else you need to code it…I think it was in the API doc
Hi,
Please, follow my steps I sent you before.
This is MIDI Controller area, not Mapping Page.
This is cogwheel button, not instrument button. The button’s name is totally differet.
I realise, however I need to modify the widgets because they need some minor tweaks to work (the basic MCU is very kludgy); it does not allow widget editing; the mapping editor should be secondary…generally it seems if the edit pen is missing, it indicates that the remote is not editable at any level
But
Aside from that, here is the mapping page as per your instructions (by the way its easier just to double click an item but thanks for your help) (the mappings are not editable either),
