Has Anyone Gotten Garritan's COMB2 Sound Library to Work with Dorico?

I’m really wanting to use Garritan’s COMB2 sound library with my marching band template. Has anyone been successful about it getting to work with Dorico?

There’s no reason why it shouldn’t: there are templates for JABB and GPO5.

It’s “just” a question of setting up the Dorico instruments with the ARIA samples that you want to use; creating Expression Maps for mapping notation effects to MIDI, and then saving that as Endpoints for creating a Playback Template…!

I’m like 99.99% sure the GPO5 expression maps won’t work with the COMB2 sound library. They’re two different sound libraries.

Yes, I’m not suggesting that they will work “out of the box”. However, there are a lot of similar behaviours across the Garritan libraries. Many of the CCs do the same things.

I’m suggesting that the documentation that I’ve provided, and the expression maps and all may give you sufficient information for you to create your own, either from scratch or by modifying them.
