Has the ASIO guard and Vienna Ensemble Issue been Fixed?

Hey all,

Please tell me this issue has been fixed because, If it hasn’t, it is unacceptable. I upgraded, at no small cost, to cubase 8. I also imagine that I’m not the only one trying to use cubase in this way. I have not been able to use it since because of this issue [ http://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=231&t=70250 ] . I have to keep working in 7.5, which I don’t mind other than the fact that I paid good for an upgrade that was not functional. The only solution thus far is to turn ASIO guard completely off in cubase 8 and that is not really a solution.

Thank you.

There is a good workaround:

Will look into this. Does this fix the issue of the sound cutting out when changing between tracks in a cubase project?

Aside from the workaround, Seinberg said a couple of months ago that a permanent fix would be in 8.0.20.

Thanks for the info Noiseboyuk. I hadn’t read that announcement. Was getting frustrated. What I do now is come up with ideas in 8 and do a quick tempo map (as its so easy there) and then work on my projects in 7.5 very frustrating.

Yes we need the fix now!
