I just found out about a new processor from Intel, here is a read up:
Inside ‘Panther Lake’: What to Know About Intel’s Crucial First 18A Processors (pcmag.com)
It seems that American onshoring is providing at least one thing to look forward to!
Sure, it isn’t WoA, but it is for all intents and purposes a new class of processor.
I for one can’t wait to see what becomes available in the Laptop, space (there are server CPU’s as well, but not desktop) next year.

Let us hope that this will bear fruit. I have always preferred Intel but the last couple of releases did not match the hype. I am looking forward to its release. Thanks for the update!

I am using Panther Lake with a NUC, and it is great with Windows 11.
10% CPU usage, with the DAW playing and under 50% RAM usage with 32GB. Disk usage is hardly anything, with a PCIe 5.0 M.2 drive.
In this form factor, i.e., desktop I am glad I didn’t wait until Nova Lake, even though Windows 10 support has been extended until 2027, but I still could do that, in a custom-built desktop machine at a later time.
