Sorry to open up this old topic again, but, after quite a bit of searching around and reading this thread, I still can’t discover how to do this. It is not obvious how to hide piano pedal markings. I really wish to hide them project-wide, so they never appear.

I don’t think you can hide them by default. However, select all, filter select>pedal lines then change the properties…
You will need to do this for each flow.
Thanks @Janus. As I said, not obvious – I explored all that, but it didn’t occur to me that sign appearance ‘hook’ might mean don’t show anything. What is needed I think is an equivalent of the ‘hide’ right-click command in Sibelius that hides more or less anything.

My recollection was that, if one used the Ped.—Star notation, they wewre easy to hide.
