How can I increase the resolution of Midi CC data while recording?

I’ve been looking for that, too – but haven’t found a preference for that.

The closest I can think of is using Track Presets

But I’m not sure if it even makes sense as a general default. Lots of CCs are either on or off, or just have a few large steps – e.g. reverb type: “hall/plate/room”

But it might make sense for pitch bend.

i don’t think it would make any difference in terms on/off controllers would it?

it would just be data clutter in the midi stream

Hello. Please help. Where I can increase points in CC1, CC11 etc? All methods before does work for me! I try to go F6 and then in Settings change reduction level from 50 to 10 %, but it doesn’t work. I am writing with controller and it’s looks the same as in the picture? Please, help! I need more points to have more sweet curves. Cubase 14 Pro

Use Steps instead of Ramps.

Yes, but in this key it’s looks like this with SO many points. Is it OK?

On YouTube I saw another pictures. It’s something in the middle between ramp and step.

I don’t think there is a middle. I am not aware of changing the point reduction algorithm for ramps in the key editor.
