Hi @konradh Make sure that your pedal length is the desired one (its end point attachment line should go to the first beat of the next bar). Hi @xuediaoqiangguo, inputting your music, and then the pedals (just selecting the notes and applying the Ped., you may want to change the property from Line to Sign…), Dorico aligns the end sign with the Ped. by default.
Did you change some settings or made some manual dragging? (but I dont know how you managed to have the sign so high…). In the last case, select all (or only the Ped. and end signs) and from menu Edit choose Reset position.
Otherwise you may need to post an example Dorico file, so we can have a look.
