How do I get rid of the stupid Wavelab 12 start screen? I hate it, because its useless.
I just want to go straight to the main UI, like Wavelab 9 used to do.

As you’ve already used WaveLab 9, you’ll be aware that there are Preferences that can be tailored to suit your needs. There is even a check box on the “stupid” start screen which does exactly what you want.
PS With respect, not everyone finds the start screen “stupid” or “useless”, and posting such judgements from a clearly uninformed perspective will not endear you to others, who, like @Marker , volunteer of their spare time to answer questions.
To skip the Wavelab 12 start screen and go straight to the main UI:
Check Preferences: Go to Options > Preferences and look for a setting to disable the start screen or set the default workspace to open directly.
Startup Shortcut: If available, create a shortcut that opens a specific workspace directly.
If these options aren’t visible, consult the documentation or support for further assistance.
That is my opinion, and I am allowed to have my opinion. I am criticising the designers of the software, not the volunteers who help on the forum.
I already looked for an option like the one you describe… I can’t find any.

Ok thank you, I got it now. It was right click and open file from Computer’s file explorer with WL. This is a nice feature.

The startup screen is so cluttered, I could not see the tick box that disabled it.
Also, I could not make sense of your post, because your arrow was lost in that same clutter.
I’ve spotted it and unticked it!
