I added a sustain pedal in a measure that contains a note with a fermata on it. I’d like the pedal to stay sustained for a longer period of time to emphasize the fermata that was just played. But the pedal stops a little too soon for my taste. Is there a way to go in and elongate/shorten the sustain pedal in a more detailed way. I know Logic Pro can do this (see reference below) but I’d like to stay fully in Dorico if I can. If this is not possible then I hope this will be added in the future!

Thanks! Do you know how I would go about connecting pedal manipulation into the Midi CC editor? I’m afraid the info is all too confusing for me
If you show the Key Editor in the lower zone, and select the relevant passage in your piano instrument, you’ll be taken to the corresponding location in the Key Editor. The Key Editor is split into two sections: the piano roll, and another editor below. Use the menu in the lower editor to open a MIDI CC editor pointing to MIDI CC 64, which is the MIDI controller used for sustain pedal.
You should see a grey line in the MIDI CC editor, showing you the automatic controller information Dorico is generating during playback. You can now add your own data using the tools in the MIDI CC editor to influence what will actually be played back.
