How to set cycle Markers when highlighting them in the Markers window

Greetings ,
I am trying to set up my workflow to be as smooth and efficient as possible in cubase 13 Pro. I tried to highlight my intro start marker and 1st Verse marker in the marker window in order to set a loop playback. No can do. Is there a way to do this in cubase , as I’m used to just picking my marker points in pro tools and turning on the loop function so it can loop while I do my edits. That’s just 2 steps. I noticed that in order for me do this in cubase, I;d have to click on my first marker , then click on the 3rd marker that follows the 2nd , then press P in order for the loop to be from marker 1 to the end of marker 2, Then turn on the loop function.
Also I noticed that if I click on a marker , it shows me the start point but it doesn’t show the end point in the transport window, therefore I have to also click on the marker following it in order for it to cycle the start and end points of the first marker. is this normal or can I set this to show start and end points on each marker and also just cycle from within that one particular marker. I know each DAW has it;s own way of functioning , I’d like to get the most efficient way of working within this one.
Thanks in advance.

Add Marker can be assigned to a keyboard shortcut.

Appreciate that response. Really wanting to know if I can hit Marker 1 in the Marker window Box Then Hold down Shift and highlight Marker number 2, activate Loop/Cycle for these 2 markers by performing those steps.

No, please use cycle markers instead of the single point markers. Cycle markers do exactly what you describe that you want to do. They mark a time span, while single point markers mark a … single point.

Thanks for the response. In watching and seeing what the cycle markers do, I don’t find it to be the most efficient way to cycle what I want to cycle, when I want to cycle something. I hope you get what I’m saying. It is contrived and therefore I’d have to make a cycle marker to cycle what I want to when I want to cycle two points. If I want to cycle from Verse 2 to Chorus 3, I would have to make a marker to do that. That’s another step that to me slows me down, especially when I have those single markers already set at those points… If it;s not possible at this time in cubase , I hope they will add it later.
Thanks again.

Maybe there’s a macro that can be written for that. Will investigate.

The way you describe it, perhaps it would be useful to have a look at the arranger track as well.

Will do. Thanks.

Thanks m.c. Arranger track is a great feature to have and use when building out a song and production. I can see why you recommended it. Still not exactly what I’m looking to do on the fly when editing. I think the feature to accomplish this function would be,; Cycle follows Marker selections. Just like how we have cycle follows range selection in pref -Editing , it would be very cool to have Cycle follows marker selections. Still looking into this.
Thanks again.
