How to show note names on key editor keyboard keys in Cubase

As I am not keyboardist, I always wanted to see notes on the piano roll while I edit midi notes. For example, I believe this DAW is reason studio and this daw shows us individual notes like this

Cubase on the other hand doesn’t show us note info (at least with my current set up)

Yes, it does show me what notes I’m writing on midi, but it is not what I’m talking about! Also, this topic How to show Note Name/# on Piano roll does not answer to my question/request at all just so you know

I want the note info to be on the piano roll like (C1, C#1, D1, D#1 so on and so forth. Not just C1, C2 and C3 but Basically every note.)

Please someone tell me if this is possible to do on Cubase, or if not I request this feature to Steinberg.

  • My set up -
    Windows 10 Home
    16GB RAM
    Intel Core i7-8700K
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
    Audio IF UR-RT2
    Cubase Pro 10.5.30 / Pro 11

Would this work?

  • Turn Pitch Visibility On
  • Set Pitch Visibility to Show Pitches from Scale Assistant
  • Set Scale Assistant to Use Editor Scale
  • Set Editor Scale to No Scale

This would work for Cubase 11 users thank you! I will definitely reference the way you told me and try when I get Cubase 12 (cuz I have an unknown problem with cubase 11 and can’t get my work done anyway lol)
