drum roll…
I’ll youtube this may be you see something…
you’ve getting a severe disk cache spike on stop… I get those spikes too but not nearly so bad.
The video is good but doesn’t really give me a clue as to what is causing it . Do you get the same click on a silent audio track - ie a wav at -99db
I’ll try now! One second please…
The disk cache pops up when I stop cubase on a silent audio track yes… what does that mean?
probably nothing - as I get disk spikes like that too.
you don’t get the ‘click’ on a silent audio track though - so it’s probably not sample rate related…and it’s not cubase ‘making’ a click…
So is that related to the pop problem or no?
impossible to be certain - but I’d probably say not.
as I say, I’m just guessing at this point…is that the latest focusrite driver - try fully removing and reinstall ?
is there another audio card on the PC - can you try using that, either via ASIO4ALL or via the generic ASIO driver ?
Okay I will do that now! Again thanks alot for trying to help me!
I tried Generic ASIO driver the pops are there, I’ll install ASIO4ALL now…
Also with ASIO4ALL same pops…
Oh but I don’t have another audio card… That’s you want me to do right?
Do You use Direct monitoring ?
What kind, Tapemachine style ?
Have You in preferences set “Suspend VST 3 plug-in processing when no audio signals are received” to ON ?
Can you please explain what do you mean by direct monitoring?
I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that
Hi, what exactly?
By Direct Monitoring I am talking about this:
Ah okay, no I have it on manual. And I have suspend vst3 off.
