Is there a way to tweak SHIFT-O popover text?

I have successfully changed popover text of playing techniques category. Due to a bug both brass “mute” and “stopped horn” + symbols were assigned to the same popover text but for fr. horn the mute symbol did not play back correctly so I assigned “++” for stopped horn technique.

IBut now for the “ornaments” category, or SHIFT-O.
Is there a way to change for example “arpdown” (7 keystrokes) to something else, shorter?

I am aware of workarounds. I have already created a simple script that adds arpeggio down to a selection but out of curiosity- can SHIFT-O category popover texts be changed?

No, there’s no way to adjust the built-in popover syntax.

The workaround I found in case of the arpdown example.
Create a script:

local app=DoApp.DoApp()
app:doCommand([[NoteInput.CreateOrnament?Definition=arpdown&UseLocalOverride=0]])

Name it adn.lua and then one can just invoke the Jump Bar and type adn-[ENTER]

For a few things often used, this is a fast way, One creates the lua script once…
