Well I would buy it, but the shop isn’t accepting my login details. Same user name and password working fine for My Steinberg.
Though I would have wished for different things than Retrologue 2, VST Transit, Profile Manager or all the cosmetic changes, it’s really good to see that quite some user requests did make it into the 8.5 release after all.
I hope this goes on also for Version 9 (bezier curves for automation would be something I would love to see).

The shop is using a different login as it is run by the shop provider Asknet. If you haven’t ordered there before, please set up a new account with them.
Do i have to update to 8.0.30 from 8.0.20 before installing ? Or is it a completely different folder, with completely different settings ?
It installed completely separate for me. So I have both 8 and 8.5.

- Does 8.5 run under the OSX 10.9.5? “System requirements” on the product page state that at least 10.10 is requried. Isn’t that ridiculous?
- When I try to complete my order in Steinberg Online Shop, the only available paying method for me is WebMoney, and I have no idea what it is. Can I just pay with my VISA card? I did that many times before.

think we all have to, I just did, the payment page prompted me to log in with my online shop password, not with mySteinberg pw. there is a tab that you can click on.

How do I set one up is what I’m asking. It prompts me to log in at the check out but I don’t recall setting up an account with asknet
You may have to set yourself up as a new customer? if you don’t remember setting one up in the past. hope that helps

Okay, question has just been answered in the other thread: Cubase 8.5 NO Mac 10.9. support? - #9 by bigsoundsgood - Cubase - Steinberg Forums, seems that 8.5 runs under 10.9.5 as well.
But why on Earth I am given only one payment option and this option is WebMoney? Anyone?
