Left Zone 'Set Up Sections' doesn't really make sense, for MIDI Channels. missing features

Why is it I can have Inserts and Sends in the furthest Left Zone, but I can’t add Modifiers?

But I can for the Inner Left Zone?

But then, the Inner Left Zone gets more crowded because I can’t move other things to the furthest left zone?

edit

and why the routing section so different between zones?

Here’s another problem,

The Record Inserts Line isn’t available in the furthest left zone.

Sort of leaves the user stuck between two less ideal options… If they try and organize what is available to put in the furthest Left Zone to de-crowd the inner left zone… they lose access to features.

If they don’t want to lose access to those features… and because many things in the inner left zone can’t be put in the outer furthest left zone… They have an over-populated over crowded inner left zone… and there’s almost no point to the outer left zone for MIDI channels.

Was this intended design? I almost want to upgrade it to issue.

And here’s another one: Why isn’t there a section preset for the outer left (Channel) zone, just like there is for the inner (Inspector) one? By the way, this also applies to the mixer sections. Yet another inconsistency, typical of Cubase.

I greatly appreciate you adding your voice… I post a lot on the forums, getting into these boring but important details and a lot of the time… no one replies… So I just feel like I’m posting into an empty void… But then some abstract complaint troll thread will get 100 replies.

Cubase is a sumptuous dish made with exquisite ingredients, but unfortunately, there are always some ingredients that are spoiled or missing unnecessarily, which significantly detracts from the overall enjoyment.

Ironically, it’s us users who are digging deep to unlock all of its potential and power and utilize every bit of code written by every dev at Steinberg since it’s birth who discover all these things… back to making to music…

Yeah - this double LH menu was put in to appeal to laptop users, but the lack of common sense with the restricted features has ruined it for large screen users who could have gotten away with a single panel! Another example of poor QC.

I mean, I don’t mind having double LH… but it seems kind of redundant. I don’t even really see how it would help laptop users, at least in the case of MIDI/Instrument channels.
