Legacy HALion content in HALion 7 and the USB-eLicenser

Previous version of HALion (4, 5, and 6) could import (“register”) the content from HALion 3 and then use that content. It is still possible to use this HALion 3 content in HALion 7 (which uses Steinberg Licensing), but only if the USB-eLicenser is connected, with a valid HALion 6 (or earlier) license.

Is there any possibility to use HALion 3 content in HALion 7 without the USB-eLicenser?

HALion 3 Factory Sound Set 5 still needs USB-eLicenser

I have a HALion 7 license with Steinberg licensing which was upgraded from a HALion 6 license on a USB-eLicenser. I had been able to use legacy HALion 3 content but when I remove the USB-eLicenser, it complains that no license is found for a specific file, “HALion 3 Factory Sound Set 5.hsb” which is available here: This causes the programs to be displayed in HALion 7 as follows: [image] I can remove the file but then I get the warning: [image] The content of HALion 3 consists of five files…
