When bringing up the Toolbox by right clicking in the Project Window, I used to be able to select tool variants by holding down both right and left mouse button for about a second. [image] Doing the same in Cubase 14 has no effect.

Has this issue/bug been logged or acknowledged? I made a screen recording of the current behaviour in case my description was not clear. [Long Click] Red circle = Right click Yellow circle = Left click

Confirmed here. The Toolbox in the Toolbar is fine, but the right-click Toolbox is dodgy. (Win 10, i7-5820K, 64 Gb RAM, RME Babyface.)

Apparently this issue is back in Cubase 15.0.20. [image] Object Selection Tool appears to be broken in Cubase 15 Cubase When I right click and open the Object Selection Tool, left clicking a tool to open the drop down menus just closes the Object Selection Too…

I marked it as solved when v14.0.10 came out that actually did solve the issue. I was able to remove the “Solution” but unfortunately I cannot edit the tags of the topic. Someone with a higher trust level would have to step in and do that. (Edit: Thanks Steve!)

This. Must. Not. Be. Forgotten. A bad pattern of broke, fixed, broke again… It’s part of the fabric of Cubase, it’s ‘personality’ over the competition - been there since forever.! I hope for a fix again, soon. :folded_hands: :crossed_fingers:

You know @awesomeaudio - this sort of thing too; those 1% niggles again - that may go for years without solving… or, simply be left to just wither and die…
