Hi - There is (at least) one clear cool advantage to the Lower Zone - to line up VariAudio events to other events (as opposed to the grid). It used to be much harder to do in previous versions, as discussed here:
I’m not seeing other circumstances where it’s adding much else though. The other editors I’d rather have full-screen, so I’m clicking the LZ off everytime I edit MIDI, etc. And when I’m not editing, the LZ takes up so much Project window screen space I turn it off then also.
But I wanted to check to see if you guys can sell me on the idea of using it more!
