There’s a thread here which describes a way to create a ‘ghost’ vocal part in the Full Score, take the notes out and use that as a feeder for vocal cues in a Lead Sheet. Unfortunately, my charts are Music XML imports and I’m having trouble doing this consistently. I can do them manually though. Please see attached, would this look acceptable? Should I put the ellipsis in at i.e. Bar 21? Should they be italicized?
I’m doing this using Staff Text in the individual Layout. Thanks for any comments.
