MIDI panic?

Is there a MIDI panic button anywhere in Cubase 9.5 Pro? I get a VST synth stuck on a note and the only way to stop it is to close the project and reopen.

thanks

Hi,

Reset from the MIDI menu.

Thank you Martin :+1:

I used the MIDI MENU Reset, thinking it would work for Panic (to stop the sustaining MIDI Note/s), and it didn’t work. Strange. It didn’t seem to reset anything.

That’s exactly what the Reset entry in the MIDI menu is supposed to do.

If you’re controlling hardware devices, it’s possible that they may have disconnected from your computer for some reason.

Thanks! I was playing with a new Synth and I didn’t understand something intentional was going on

“Send All Notes Off Message” to tell Cubase to stop/ reset all MIDI signals for a given track. [Cubase 11] Go to Edit>Key Commands>Midi>Send All Notes Off Message to set up a hot-key (Mine is Ctrl+Shift+P - “P” for “Panic”!).
