No other app sounds if dorico is opened?

hey there,

if dorico is turned on, i got no other sounds at all. no youtube, no mp3, nothing.
in the system settings when testing my speakers, it says “this device is used by another application. please make sure all other devices which are currently using the audio are closed and try again.”
is this a ordinary dorico feature?

Yes, any ASIO driver takes exclusive use of your audio hardware. Use a different driver in Dorico, like DirectSound.
