No Scrub Audio

In Cubase 5.5.0 b2 and even after updating to 5.5.2, I cannot hear anything when using the scrub tool in the sample editor. The volume is up for Scrub in Preferences and I’ve selected the correct tool.

For that matter I cannot hear any sound when using either the Play or Audition tools and the Audition slider is at maximum.

I hear audio just fine when using the transport’s Start button.

I found nothing in the docs for this issue. Please advise.

if it´s enabled disable it.
