maybe sometime in the future we can get an updated autobiography, I think it would be great to hear about what you go through as you are creating these updates, what hours you work, how you stay on point,
Yes, maybe sometime In the meantime, what I can say is that, above all, I maintain a very healthy lifestyle. This is a necessary condition for successfully carrying out long-term projects
EDIT: I FIGURED IT OUT. DOWNLOAD ASSISTANT | REDEEM CODE. LAST PLACE ONE WOULD LOOK REGARDING UPDATING I FEEL. I STAND FOR MY RANT BELOW.
I’m not able to enter licence or use WaveLab 13.
Bought it, money left the bank.
WaveLab Pro 12, WaveLab Pro 13, Activation Manager, Download Assistant and Library Manager are all installed and up to date.
Steinberg is living in a bad version of the past. “Order placed”, “through FastSpring – an authorized reseller”, “Due to inactivity, your session expired!”, “Sorry, we couldn’t find what you were looking for”, “here is your receipt”, “WaveLab Go Helper Application”, “Register your copy of SpectraLayers”… It goes on forever. These things are noise. Software must update automagacially imo.
Do me a small favor, as proof that you listen to users. Remove the forced splash on startup. God damn it, I get so angry every time there’s a new WaveLab release.
No disrespect to the devs or anything intended. I love you guys. WaveLab is incredible.
I restarted my Intel computer running Windows 11, read the help pages, did the things. No luck.
It’s not possible to apply the loudness matching to the new synchronized tab playback, right? Or did I miss it? Like select one as reference within the tab and switch around the tabs where all others are adjusted. That would be cool for really quick comparisons.
Loudness matching is only within a single audio montage. Doing the same between different tabs would be a good idea. I have to evaluate the difficulty.
I usually work in Dolby Atmos first and then downmix and master in stereo. For stereo mastering, I first set up the track with Izotope Ozone 12 Advanced mastering assistant. I've seen that this AI-based plugin also works for Dolby Atmos mastering in Wavelab 13. But I'm wondering if it's appropriate to use it, given the logic behind Wavelab 13's ability to make plugins natively designed for stereo usable in immersive environments.
Unfortunately, the video presenting WaveLab 13 isn’t very professional. When it comes to sales, Steinberg should invest more in this area and seek advice from experts who know how to do it right. I’m not going to answer questions about how I got it. Just show the video to a marketing professional and they’ll give you the right tips. You want to sell and do everything you can to achieve that, don’t you? (Surely it’s also about attracting customers who haven’t worked with WaveLab before.)
Not sure what video you are referring to but most of the videos are done by individual people and not by Steinberg. Could you post a link to what you are talking about?
Nice update! The visualization on the Dolby Atmos Renderer freezes. When I press STOP it tries to work. All I see is the color bubbles but no movement on the level meters or bubbles. Is it a computer resources issue? Running Windows 10 with 64 RAM. The utilization meter at the bottom is running at 25%.
