This seems to be a performance issue on the graphics hardware side.
The Wavelab ADM Demo is a “heavy” ADM.
The issue was a high ASIO buffer size. I was using 4096. Changed to 1024 and the visualization working fine.
Nice update - feels very snappy. Insert FX Plug in still doesn´t work with Protools HDX - with HDN it works. Any idea?
Implementation of EUCON wuld be very helpful too.
+1!
The only thing I’m still missing in WaveLab is a deep communication with midi controllers. Both EUCON and the integration of the superb Steinberg Midi Remote: it’s high on my wishlist… Would make WL even greater!
How long will the discount be in operation?
I don’t know exactly, but I know it’s not long anymore.
Great event.
Couldn’t buy my update yesterday night
And today the -15% went off ![]()
I did not see any expiration time for the 15%
So i missed it.
Sad
phase.mastering, The same thing happened to me.
The discount was offered for only a few days.
I just bough Wavelab 12 in December. Looking at this it seems I should be eligible for a free update - unless I’m misunderstanding? But I can’t see anything in my vouchers!
Probably because December comes before January. Or, are you saying that you bought WaveLab 12 in December but didn’t enter the Download Access Code until after January 1, 2026?
Why does Wavelab Go launch instead of Wavelab Elements? This happened on my laptop but then fixed itself. Now its doing the same thing on my studio mac pro.
Have you activated WaveLab in your Steinberg Activation Manager on the Mac Studio?
Im embarrassed to say, that was indeed the issue… Thanks you Thor.HOG!
Just a quick note regarding the Wavelab page in French on the Steinberg website.
It should be written: “Wavelab 13 est sorti” (without the “e” at the end). Since Wavelab is gender-neutral, it should be written in the masculine form.
(Liked because I’m doing French on Duolingo!)
Are there any enhancements to the Batch Processor?
Wavelab still has no loopback-recording and no “one-click” easy-peasy recoding like Audacity for instance. It’s overcomplicated for basic tasks, but almost a jack of all trades for mastering, sure.
