Great stuff, a lot of useful fixes. Thanks!
One question:
" The Video Player now properly exits full-screen mode when switching to another app."

I would love to have an option here. Sometimes I’m listening to ambiences in Soundminer while playing back a scene in Nuendo.. as my video is in Desktop mode on MacOS, this fix disables this ability. So in short, I can’t watch the video and browse through my Soundminer database. If it were an option, everyone would be happy. (some people obv don’t need the video to stay on top.

I won’t be updating anytime soon since I’ll be away for a while. But these are welcome fixes (I hope the range select fix on VCA tracks also works on Group tracks because that is an instant crash for me on MacOS).

Thanks

I knew about this update

Thanks Oscar and all the devs.

Did this address the preferences issue?

Have a read!

The issue with the locator points not following the selection tool is still there. This makes it unusable by mixing with the loop function.

Sorry Steinberg, but due to different bugs I have to use now three different Nuendo versions (12, 13 and 14). IMO you’re focusing too much on new features instead of solving existing ones.

Guys I am have Performance drop out since updating the latest maintance.Anyone else having this issue???

Seeing the exact opposite on my end. My performance was terrible on my M1 Mac Studio before the update. I saw no change on my M3 Macbook Pro. It’s almost outperformed my Studio by comparison.

Do you have a link to the topic where this one is explained in detail? I am not even aware that there is a feature to have the locators be placed by the selection tool (except for markers, of course).

Maybe I’ve explained it wrong, but this is the issue

Kindly make yourself the macro, that I posted at the end of the first linked topic.
That will allow you to delete a range without a range selection remaining.

Dear Steinberg team, great, a new update: Congratulations…well, I have a issue here: the button in the center of the clips to adjust the volume has been there, if I’m not mistaken, since version 1.02 of Nuendo. Why did they have to change this in version 14? There are things that shouldn’t be changed! Here I go to version 13 back again… and I shouldn’t have spent the money on the update. Please change this or include it as an option. Changing the volume of the clip in crossfade with the previous clip to adjust the volume between both is completely impossible, not to mention having to scroll to get to the beginning of the clip to get that little triangle… Please, return that button to the center of the clip!

There is at least one thread about it and how you can achieve the same goal now. Just do a search.

Thank you for your reply. It’s not magic, it’s know how. I still don’t have it. It doesn’t come like that to me. You’re on Mac or PC? Keys combination?
Thankx

The default modifier keys are Cmd+Shift on Mac and Ctrl+Shift on Windows. But they are changeable in the Preferences.

Thank you Johnny_Moneto.
Still not… sorry.
Tried with object selection tool and range selection tool.
With range selection tool + Ctrl+Shift, I get a white square diamond but, will not apply to the crossover part, only to a (can’t understand the selection) a part of the clip.
What you’ve showed to me, would work for me but, i am missing steps here…

Thank you MattiasNYC,

i actually did but… what should i look for?
“clip volume away” or … suggestions?
Thank you!!
