Are both licenses (5.5 + 5.5 NEK) visible in the eLicenser Control Center?

Even though after updating NEK5 to NEK5.5, the E-licencer displayed the licence, however i did notice under ‘my steinberg’ that NEK5.5 had not been registered and had a new code which i tried installing onto E-licencer, but it just came up with a red no entry sign. However this morning when i tried it again, the E-licenecer accepted it this time. I booted up N5.5 and this time everything was there. Problem solved.

However this is going to be a pain installing N5 & NEK5 onto 20 classroom PC’s. Can the N5.5 and NEK5.5 download update be put on using the code that that comes with N5 & NEK5? or will N5 & NEK5 have to be installed first and then updated?

A lot of new stuff in N5.5, so 5.5 is a full installer.
However the dongle (license) needs to be updated, meaning that a 5.0 license should be present before the license can be updated.

Hi,
I am currently updating our five Studio PC’s N5 to N5.5 along with NEK5.5, however the NEK5.5 re-code does not appear to be forthcoming, could you inform me how long it normally takes please as we will soon have 17 classroom PC’s to update and time is at a premium with it being the start of our academic year (University of York, UK)

Thats right in ‘My Steinberg’ acount. One has now appearred that i installed last Monday. so i now have N5.5 and NEK5.5 working.
I am still awaiting another code for the NEK5.5 Upgrade for another PC i installed it on last Tuesday. It didn’t help the Steinberg site being “OWN” for “maintenance” yesterday.
I dread installing 17 copies of N5.5 & NEK5.5 on 17 PC’s before next Tuesday!!!

I now have a problem of not being able to uninstall N5! “A network string occurred while attempting to read from the file C:|WINDOWS\INSTALLER\NUENDO5.msi”

Hello! I am a registered Nuendo 5! set Trial Nuendo 5.5! I thought it was a free upgrade! but I also read the inscription on that only 400 hours! Nuendo 5.5 and before work is always asked to register!what will happen in my case? when 400 hours of work will be in the past? give me the code for a permanent job? or do I have to buy Nuendo 5.5 for normal continuous operation??
