Finally got around to updating to 13. OH NO, THEY TOOK OUT THE BEAT CALCULATOR!

WHY, OH WHY?!

I use that feature all the time. Tapping the ‘tap’ button in the transport bar doesn’t have anywhere near the functionality the good-old beat calculator did – of course the functionality I use!

PLEASE put the Beat Calculator back in!

Time to uninstall 13 and reinstall 12 for the time being.

I don’t care if this has already been addressed in other threads.

I see. That means, the developers are aware of it. I don’t think opening a new thread with the very same statement will bring something new.

I do not have any way of knowing what the dev priorities are.

I’m frustrated that two critical features (to me) are in 12 but not in 13. I’ve had to regress to 12 to get work done.

Cubase 13.0.20 maintenance update, which includes the fix, has been released. Please, download and install the update.

Maybe I’m blind or something, but I’m not seeing Beat Calculator. Certainly not in its old place Project | Beat Calculator.

It’s not at the old place. The functions are available in the Transport Panel next to the Tempo field.
