This issue has been around for many versions of Cubase. My midi controller needs to be turned on before starting Cubase. If I don’t turn it on first, I need to shut down Cubase, turn my controller on, then restart Cubase. It would be great if Cubase had some sort of “rescan for midi devices” or “reinitialize” or something like that so I wouldn’t keep wasting time…
