Old Versions of Cubase

Hi
Now we’re meant to be dongle free how do I use old versions of Cubase ?
If I take the dongle out and try and use Cubase 11 pro it says no license.
So all the old stuff should be in the activation manager, but it isn’t.

Hi Adrian,
all Cubase versions < 12 still require the dongle as they won’t be migrated to the new licensing system. If you own some licenses of other products that have been migrated, you’ll find corresponding vouchers in your MySteinberg account.

If you want to run any version before C12 you will always need a dongle or a valid soft e-licenser on that particular computer.

…too slow, Martin has already answered the question.

OK Thank You. I’m worried about when my dongle fails.
I have a spare dongle. So would i still be able to move my licenses to this in the future ?

Nope, you have to do that before early 2025 - afterwards you can’t access your e-licenser anymore I’m afraid.

So why are you opening a second thread to ask the identical question, including regarding the spare USB dongle?
