One bar too much keep coming back

In one flow I did one bar too much and when I saw that I did shift-B -1 and it disappeared.

until it came back…
And now I don’t know how many times I’ve taken away this bar.
this is now the last thing I need to check before I can print a part…

help ?

Can you post the last few bars of the piece as a Dorico file?

Are you perhaps adding something that might extend beyond the last bar?

Hi Joakim,

This sounds like a similar issue that I am having with a specific project. I am going to link my forum post to yours. Hopefully, we will get some clarity soon.

Project not saving changes

well it’a a ‘huge’ piece, and this is in the but last flow. I could perhaps put the file somewhere ? /j

exactly, no. but I haven’t been able to understand what triggers it (not the insert button). normally in finale this happened when you inserted thing close to or just before the last bars.. j

You can delete all the flows except the last, and save as a copy before uploading. You could even delete most of the last flow, and most of the instruments in the flow, as long as the file you upload still demonstrates the issue. You can also apply the Silence playback template to make the file smaller.

I deleted all flows but the two last tablå IV and Finale.

Once I was done, the bar had popped out again. It’s the last bar of the flow Tablå IV.

Probably these going into the next bar.

Are you talking about the last bar in the tablå IV flow? The dimineuendos in the horns extend into that measure, and if you turn signposts on you’ll see that you’ve also got a divisi in the strings. If you shorten the hairpin and delete the divisi, the bar will stay deleted.

Perfect !!

I will actually first just delete the divisi posts. and see if that’ll do it…
Or, you already know that I’ll have to do both ?

Hmm, I guess it’s just the divisi.
