Cool and interesting soundscape!
Do you mind relevealing what kind of 808 (or other drum machine) library that is? And what kind of processing are you doing with it? It sounds really cool.

Thanks for your time, Eirik.

I suppose you are talking about the logdrum.

Basically, it’s a preset coming from rom2a or rom2b (don’t remember & not currently in front of my pc) extension for DX7 from Yamaha. You can download easily from the Web. I simply imported it in Halion 7.

Some small tweaks on adsr, and then add a little bit of distorsion & saturation. Quadrafuzz because of freq band split for me, but any other distorsion / sat vst will fit off course.

You can also search for logdrum vst if you don’t own Halion7.

Take care.

Hi Stephco,

I’ve always loved interesting synth works and you have added to it here.

all the best

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your kind words. I’m happy you find it interesting ā€˜cause that’s what i’m seeking, even if the melody is quite simple.

Take care.

Hi Stephan,

I hadn’t been on this forum in a while to hear this when it was first put up. Still liking your music when I hear it. Always cool ideas and a good performance. I returned to gigging earlier this year, and that slowed down my recording and writing. Just about to put something new up that I just finished, so I took a look at what I’ve missed from those I knew.

Take care,

John

Hey John !

Happy that you still gig ! Would love to do it again…

I haven’t seen a link to your recent music. Did i missed ?

Take care.

Hi Stephane,

I hadn’t put anything up here since late March. I’m putting something new up today that you’ll see near the top of this made with Steinberg page, but if you want to check out the older stuff you missed, here’s the one from March that’s got vocals:

This is the other ā€œnewā€ one from about a year ago. It’s and instrumental:

Thanks for giving either a listen, if you do. Where To? got pretty good reactions. For some reason, no one wrote anything at all about Fly Away.

We’ll see what happens to this new one I’ll just be adding tonight. Take care,

John
