Playback template for percussion kit with instruments routed to different endpoints doesn't work

The recent update to Dorico allows instruments in a percussion kit to be assigned to different endpoints.— However, I can’t get a Playback Template to preserve those endpoints.

I cut down the big project I am working on to only have Percussion 1 holding a percussion kit. The first flow is a test of percussion. I forgot to delete the second flow.

So, instruments in the kit are assigned to three different channels on an ARIA multi. One is a General MIDI library, the second is a Garritan Brush Drum library, and the third is the Garritan Ethnic percussion library. The test shows the instruments all playing correctly.

I saved the Endpoint Configuration as “Percussion 1 only individual endpoints”.

I created a new Playback Template named “Percussion 1 Playback Template” and added “Percussion 1 only individual endpoints” to it. I closed the Apply Playback Template without applying it then saved my project as “Percussion 1 only.dorico”. Then I saved it as “Percussion 1 only after Playback template.dorico” and then I opened the Apply Playback Template dialog and applied the “Percussion 1 Playback Template”. I then saved the project. After applying the playback template, all of the instruments in the percussion kit were routed to the same channel on the ARIA multi.

Am I doing something wrong? The saved Endpoint Configuration does not seem to capture the individual routing of the instruments in the kit.

Is there any way to set up a Playback Template that would work in this case?
