There’s a hint in this topic from @Jochen_Trappe that there will be an official implementation of motorised faders at some point. Unfortunately the current way doesn’t allow for quick modification of existing automation where a “touch” based automation would be needed (eg. existing automation only gets updated while touching the corresponding fader)
For that we still have to use MCU. In case of the Faderport this is a shame, as @WEM did an excellent job with the script.
