Problem Activating Cubase 13 License

I enter my download access code for the update, after obtaining my activation code and when I press to Update, a window opens telling me that I do not have any license available, when I already purchased my Cubase 13 license.

Welcome to the Forum.

What licenses did you buy?
What you are showing IS the eLicenser Control Center and that hast nothing to do with Cubase 13.

You need to start the Activation Manager and Login using your Steinberg Account. There you can enable the licenses for Cubase 13 by pressing the Activate Button.

I bought Cubase pro 13 license. I already followed all the steps indicated on Steinberg’s page and also the ones you tell me, but it doesn’t work for me. I clicked on “more information” in the activation manager and followed all the steps that they tell me in case the “expired” message appears, and these steps take me to the eLicesencer where in the end I cannot find the license I purchased. I appreciate all the information.

Did you have a license of Cubase 11 earlier? It looks like you did an upgrade and not a new license.

Your eLicenser shows a Cubase 11 license, that has been upgraded to Cubase 13 (Upgraded to Steinberg Licensensing). This is ok and the eLicenser will not show you any more license that can be upgrade, which is the reason for the window where you do not see something to upgrade anymore.

Your Activation Manager shows an active Trial license and another entry that seems to be the release you have bought. It waits for a verification, so did you read this support article:

Yes, I followed all the steps in that article, and by following all those steps, everything that I sent in the photos happens to me (I took the screenshots following the step by step of that article).

Hi,

There is no USB-eLicenser plugged in, therefore eLicenser can’t find your Cubase Pro 11 license, to update from.

I’ve alredy tried to upgrade with the USB-eLicenser 11 plugged, but still doesn’t work. Also i’ve alredy read all the topics about my issue and follow all the steps from “Steinberg Support”, and my license is still not activated. I appreciate all information.

Hi,

What were the steps suggested by the Steinberg Support, please?

Hello. this are the steps that Steinberg suggest(and i followed):

  • Open the Steinberg Download Assistant.
  • Enter the Download Access Code at the top left.
-A dialog box opens, prompting you to activate the corresponding license. It also shows an Activation Code. You don’t need to write it down.
    -Click on the [Upgrade] button.
-An eLicenser Control Center window opens. The Activation Code has been filled in automatically.
  • Select the license you want to update/upgrade.
  • Click [Continue].
    - Click [Upgrade License].

and this ones too:

  • Close Steinberg Activation Manager and all Steinberg applications.
  • Wait 10 seconds.
  • Reopen Steinberg Activation Manager.
  • If that doesn’t work, sign out of Steinberg Activation Manager and sign back in.

If neither of those steps work, please [contact us].

…but nothing work. Im waiting for the answer after i contact support, but it’s a yamaha’s shop in another country

Hi,

Which step exactly didn’t work? What did you see on the screen instead of the expected step?

In this step:
-An eLicenser Control Center window opens. The Activation Code has been filled in automatically.
First it looks like this when i click Upgrade

and after i press “Continue” it looks like this(I have the Cubase 11 ilock connected to the computer) :

Hi,

Cubase 11 license says Updated to Cubase with Steinberg Licensing. This means, this step had been done successfully already. How does it look like in the Steinberg Activation Manager now, please?

Hi.
It looks like this:

In english says ‘pending verification expired’, and in the another product says ‘Disable’, but that product it’s only for test.
I’ve alredy followed all the steps that steinberg indicates on the page for this case, but it doesn’t work.

And what does the button next to it show when you click it?

When I click ‘more information’. The assistant manager takes me to Steinberg’s help center, and there I find all the steps that I told you a few comments ago and I’ve followed all of them.
