Quantise presets are not saved in Cubase 15

When I activate Create Groove Quantise presets, they are added to the Quantise panel.

However, Save Preset remains disabled, preventing me from saving them.

Consequently, I am now unable to add any further new Grooves.

In Cubase 14, I could continue adding them.

I would like to know the solution to this.

Thank you.

I tried it out and got the same behavior. You should add the “issue” tag to this post, and maybe even open a support case.

Here’s a workaround–>

Create the Groove Quantize Preset:

Change the Safe Range, and you’ll be able to save the preset:

Then you can select the saved preset, undo the change, and save the preset:

You can delete the “N-1” version:

This issue has already been reported here, and I could reproduce it

I don’t know if this has officially been reported to Steinberg (@MartinJirsak, do you maybe know something?), but I would also recommend opening an official support ticket in any case.

I did post a work around in my thread about this issue.

See the post above to access that thread.

The Groove Quantize presets and preset management system as a whole needs an overhaul IMO. Your issue might be a good excuse to start working on that. Not trying to hijack your thread though, so I’ll leave it at that.

What I’d ask for is a favorites list per project or somehow pin quantizations to the top per project.

Many of us have long list of custom quantizations but only use 1 or 2 per project. It can be difficult to remember the quantizations used later down the road.

Thank you for letting me know.

I’ll try using it by adjusting the saferange.

It would be great if it could be updated so we can save without having to think about it, like in Cubase 14.

Thanks.
